This album cover is by an artist named Patrick Nagel, who did a lot of very stylish pieces like this, most of them a lot racier than this.
No, not my music. I don't play much any more. I spend more time with the band saw than the band.

This beautiful instrument was built from a teak cutting board that I got for free from Home Depot for review. 32" Eden neck, active electronics. Teak is hard enough for a simple oiled finish. This one was built with a minimum of tools, mostly by hand, to show that it can be done and how.

This is the jig as I first built it, with a drill guide attached to the end. That doesn't work very well. The jig is made from 1x2s, 1x3s, and MDF for the base, mostly scrap. The eye bolts are used to secure the workpiece. The new router plate makes the centering block obsolete. Yesterday I sank a dozen screws into the jig itself to stiffen it, re-glued the rails, and semi-permanently mounted the pine spacer under the neck.
